Steam humidification (warm)
Steam humidification (warm)
The oldest and best-known method of evaporating water is heating water to a boiling point of 100°C. This can be achieved in various ways:
– Electrode humidifiers – that is the conduction of electricity through water; the current flows through the water
– Resistance or element humidifiers – that is placing a heating element in the water
– Gas-fired humidifiers – that is the heating of water by a gas flame
